The villa is located in Sarajevo, and it represents a rare example of architecture from the modern period in Sarajevo, which, although very damaged, has remained in its original dimensions and materialization. The building is included in the list of national monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The design approach is complex, and this conceptual project proposes a complete reconstruction of the current state with adaptation to the modern functional and technical needs of today’s users and the interpolation of the pavilion as an extension of the living room area. As a final goal, the object will be materialized with modern materials, retain its original aesthetic, historical and volumetric characteristics, and become a low-energy, high-comfort interior space for users.
