The villa was designed on the Nišić plateau, 40 km from the city of Sarajevo, at an altitude of 1000 m. As it is a very sunny location, open from all sides, surrounded by a wonderful natural environment of green pastures and coniferous forest, pine, fir, and spruce, the project aimed to integrate its volume into all that, to connect the interior with the environment so that the image of nature plays a dominant role in the experience of space. In addition to architectural design, aesthetic value, and clear functional zones, the concept of an energy-autonomous house was created, which would be completely dependent on renewable energy sources.
