The house is located in Sarajevo, Stari Grad municipality, Sagrdžije Street. The plot borders Sagržije Street on the west and northwest sides, and private plots on the other side. The existing terrain is sloping, and the total height difference between the inner garden and the street is 3-3.2 m. The total area of ​​the plot is 532.25m², and the total area of ​​the built-up part of the plot is 258m2. The design was approached by observing the environment from the point of view of the existing architectural image, orientation and exposure to the sun, and access to the building itself. The new form is based on the archetype of the traditional Sarajevo mahala house. The new composition consists of two volumetric units, which geometrically represent completely physically separate blocks with a connection on the first floor.
