Wartberg

The WARTBERG project was executed at the intersection of Wartbergstrasse and Weinsbergerstrasse in Heilbronn, Germany. This project consists of three buildings with 73 residential units, 93 parking spaces and 7 business premises. Three above-ground buildings, named: House L, House 2 and House 3, are connected by a green open space. House L, in the shape of the letter “L”, plays a prominent role in the design, with a height of five floors. The entire plot has two underground floors that extend over the entire plot. Due to the densely built and very dynamic environment, open terraces are not allowed on the side facing the main road. As a result, the facade has only glazed loggias, which gives it a more closed appearance. Aesthetic values are characterized by vertical and horizontal glass elements that provide a panoramic view, creating a strong visual connection between the interior and exterior space. The building’s visual identity is defined by a combination of a simple clinker brick facade and an intense contrast between transparent and non-transparent parts. The plot covers 2,641.49 m², and the total designed area is 9,114.34 m², and there are 73 residential units, 7 business premises and 97 parking spaces on two underground floors.
