Cross Market Experience

NOTA BENE has delivered project work across different planning cultures and regulatory environments, with a clear footprint in Germany (Baden-Württemberg) and structured collaboration in Slovenia.
In Germany, we worked on residential and mixed-use developments in towns such as Stein am Kocher, Oedheim, and Kochersteinsfeld, including realized and planned building phases.
In Slovenia, NOTA BENE was directly involved in the EOScale Modular Homes initiative, both as a collaboration with a Slovenian company and through design work for modular systems.

The studio’s work is grounded in a strong academic foundation through NOTA BENE's founder, Dr. Haris Bradić, Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sarajevo.
This engagement extends beyond teaching into international professional platforms, including his role as a speaker at SHARE Hungary 2024 in Budapest.
His professional profile further includes invited lectures, panel moderation, and active participation within the SHARE network and other international education forums.

Energy-efficiency focus

Energy efficiency is an important design driver, grounded in both academic research and built practice. Haris Bradić’s doctoral research focuses on energy-driven architectural transformation, supported by long-term involvement in energy-efficiency education and professional training, including energy certification.
Within the studio’s work, energy efficiency is integrated from the earliest design stages through envelope strategy, system coordination, and performance verification, supported by energy studies and simulations that reduce operational demand, improve indoor comfort, and ensure long-term regulatory compliance.
