KOCHER

A first collective housing project for Kochersteinsfeld, introducing residential density along the river landscape through two carefully positioned volumes.

KOCHER is a residential complex composed of two linear volumes, designed and realised in the town of Kochersteinsfeld, Germany, with approximately 2,000 inhabitants.
For the first time in the history of this urban setting, collective housing was introduced, specifically along the edge adjoining the green corridor of the Kocher River.
The development comprises two buildings with a total of 31 residential units and a shared underground garage beneath both volumes, providing 49 parking spaces. Supporting facilities include technical rooms, bicycle storage, and waste management areas. The total usable residential area amounts to 2,465.5 m², with a site coverage of 41% on a 2,484.3 m² plot.
The project was developed in collaboration with Neufeld Wohnbau GmbH, Oedheim, Germany.
